About Me…

img_0033 So you’ve made it this far and you want to know a little about the author?  Well then sit back and here we go…

I grew up in Kentucky just across the river from Cincinnati, Ohio.  A lifelong Reds and Bengals fan (I know - its tough) my heroes were the Big Red Machine and the Bengals teams of the late 80s and early 90s.  Crazy that I’ve had little to cheer about since then but such is the way of sports teams I suppose.

I attended University of Kentucky and graduated with a BA degree in Psychology in Dec ‘90.  I then moved to Minneapolis exploring the job market and seeking my fortune.  I enjoyed it there but the cccccold winters left me longing for some sort of middle ground between what I thought would be Arizona and moving back to Lexington, KY.  I found that middle ground in the great state of Colorado and I moved there/here in ‘95. How time flies…

Colorado has everything.  It is a National League town for you baseball fans, a world class outdoorsman’s paradise, a golfer’s dream, and so many other things.  The NFL’s Broncos and the NHL’s Avalanche serve to round out the professional sports teams in the area.  Indeed, everything you’ve heard about Colorado is probably true with regard to the number of things to do and see in our beautiful state.

Having originally been involved in Human Resources and Logistics with a couple of great companies (thank you Target and Best Buy!), I made my way to Real Estate in a rather interesting way.  My wife and I were buying our first home in the Highlands Ranch area and there we met a great Realtor named Joel who just happened to be in the midst of starting his own shop.  Joel and I hit it off so to speak and before long, we were putting together the details of a business relationship that has lasted more than 10 years thus far.  Again, how time flies…

In my time with Benchmark Realty I have met, seen and experienced many, many varied peoples and transactions.  I have brokered home sales from the $90,000 condo to the multiple million dollar mansion estates. I am comfortable in any setting. Evergreen, Cherry Hills Village, Greenwood Village, Highlands Ranch, Castle Rock, Lone Tree and Denver are just a sampling of the areas I see and work in almost every day.

Many of my past clients have become dear friends and I look forward to continuing that trend.  I have met so many great people in this business I can no longer imagine doing anything else with my professional life.   I look forward to the future and meeting many new friends in the years to come.
